Are you a motivated leader who enjoys developing engineers, teams and collaborations in a SW development context? As Engineering Manager for Intercom SW Program, you will lead a team that develops and maintains the SW for the entire Axis Intercom Solutions portfolio.

Your future team
The Intercom SW Program team is composed of highly skilled SW engineers who thrive on collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. They collaborate closely with teams across the Intercom Solutions department and Axis OS teams to ensure delivery of high-quality products and solutions.

Your team is part of a recently created department, Intercom Solutions. The department consists of two SW teams and one HW team in Lund. The main goal of the department is to provide competitive intercom solutions for existing and new customers.

What you will do
As Engineering Manager your role is crucial in ensuring that the team’s work continues to make a real difference. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coaching your team, fostering collaboration and high performance
• Ensuring execution of the SW roadmap by driving alignment and collaboration across the Intercom Solutions department
• Supporting your team in navigating both short- and long-term challenges and seizing new opportunities
• Driving continuous improvement of ways and working and collaboration
• Being an active player in the building of the new management team for Intercom Solutions
• Contributing to the development of the new Intercom Solutions department as a whole

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
• Professional engineering experience
• Experience leading engineers in a technical environment
• Strong collaboration and cross-team communication skills

The following qualifications are a plus:

• Experience working with modern software development practices and frameworks
• Experience with software release management and lifecycle planning
